After an intensive restoration in Florence, the Triton Fountain is back in shining glory.
The bronze Triton figures were dismantled on 4 February 2017 and sent to Florence for restoration. Each figure will be covered in wax for protection and painted in azurite blue as was their original colour in 1959. Restoration of the bronze figures was completed this week and the fountain should be back in operation by the end of the year.
